I recently played my best show to date! At the Tuesday Night Music Club Event this past (Tues, July, 31st) and it has me totally stoked for my upcoming shows. I am playing at Joes Apartment Tomorrow (Saturday, Aug., 4th) and The Roxy (Thursday, Aug,9th) EEEP! I am very, very excited to keep stepping it up and get everyone ready for my EP Release.

I will be releasing my first single from the EP called “Hooked On You” August 14th, which I am really hoping gets a good response, so if you do happen to purchase/download it please, please, please let me know what you think!!

The funniest thing about it is, at this point I am still putting all of my earnings from my other jobs towards this and making pennies in return and I really don’t care, I have accepted that fact. It’s too much fun to give it up; I’ll let my wallet be in pain as long as my heart is still in music. It’s not a sacrifice if you choose to not see it that way. I am blessed to do what I love and have people come up to me after and tell me they loved it too! I look at it this way… I will spend every paycheck buying recording, paying the help, getting photos shoots, getting cds printed, getting merch, having cards printed Etc. rather than spending it out at the bar or on that really hot dress… I miss out on the average 20 year old stuff to do but I have an awesome alternative that gives me praise on something I have worked on since I was 15 years old. That’s kind of cool… wait let me rephrase that. It’s AMAZING!!
